The Process
Every piece is made at one bench, start to finish. Four steps, always in the same order — and every one of them by hand.
The shape starts on screen: the ring is modelled in three dimensions, and the curve and width are checked there first. It is the only digital step — everything after it happens in metal.
The silver is melted and cast, then hammered on the anvil until the surface breaks into an uneven, molten texture. Soldering and joining are done with a torch, by hand.
Then the long part: filing, sanding and hand polishing. The piece is oxidised and polished back, so the raised areas catch light while the recesses stay dark.
Last, each piece is cleaned, dried and struck once with the jnqlv hallmark. Only then does it go into a box.
