Silver Care
Silver is a living material: it darkens, it scratches, and it collects the marks of whoever wears it. It does not need to be kept looking new — but a few habits will keep it well.
- Store each piece dry and separate — a soft pouch or a lined box.
- Polish with a soft cloth, along the surface rather than in circles.
- Take pieces off before swimming, showering or sleeping.
- Keep silver away from perfume, hairspray, chlorine and household cleaners.
- Darkening on an oxidised finish is normal. A gentle cloth brings the highlights back without stripping the patina.
